About Skateboarding
The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. The first concrete skateboard park was made in Southern California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
