The American Skateboard Association has given our school full certification to teach. In fact, it has given us their highest level of rating -Gold Certification. There are more skateboard lessons taught through our organization than any other school. Our school will get any beginner to be confident with all of the basics of transportation.
Curriculum
Who?
We offer lessons for all levels and ages. We start with safety first, but the rest of the lesson is custom to your level and goals as a skateboarder. It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
About Skateboarding
The first skaters rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first skatepark was made in Southern California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. It was thousands of skateparks that were built in the next twenty years. Now there are more than 2,600 skateparks in America. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.
