Skateboarding is a great sport. The first skateboarders took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools so that they would have an activity to do when the surf wan’t good. Not until the 1970’s, the first skate park was made in California. Next the skateboard building boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skate parks that were built in the next dozen years. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, , who have brought it to the main stream.
