About Skateboarding
Skateboarding is an activity that everyone should learn. The first skateboarders rode down hills in Carlsbad, CA with clay wheels to mimic the waves of surfing. Not until the 1970’s, the first concrete skateboard park was made in California. Next the skateboard park boom was about to begin. There were a lot of skateparks that were built in the next dozen years. The popularity of skateboarding has taken off with the pros, like Tony Hawk, who have brought it to the main stream.

Curriculum
Who We Teach in Solvay
We offer lessons for all levels and for ages 4 and up. Our customized instruction will benefit all levels. It is never too late. We have even taught a 78 year-old grandfather who wanted to skate with his grandchildren. You can start skateboarding at any age. One of our instructors taught Shaun White how to skateboard when he was just 7 years old.
