About Skateboarding
The first skaters took big wooden boards into empty swimming pools to take their surfing to the streets. The World’s first skateboard park was made in California. Shortly after, the skateboard boom was about to begin. Now there are 2,600 skateboarding parks in America. Skateboarding has taken off with the pros, such as Rob Drydek and Shaun White, who have brought it to the main stream.
